Click on the 2nd ?? from the right. This is the Language drop
down.
Select English.

SCREEN FLASHING
Your computer screen searching for the proper COM port (1-16). If it doesn't
find one, the opening screen will continuously flash and will eventually time out.
The two most common reasons for this are:
a) The USB cable is not plugged in.
b) The wrong cable driver is installed. Refer to
Proper_Drivers
OPTIONAL FEATURES
The Baofeng Software Optional Features Screen can be
accessed through the EDIT dropdown menu. The field descriptions of that
