| The following shows how to change the background colors of the MD380/390 display using TyToolz. |

Press the
key in the lower right corner of the keypad.Select Setup / Menu
Select Foregnd / Menu
Set all three color bars to Maximum to select White.
This is done by pressing 1 then the UP key until the Red bar is at maximum. Do the same for 2 (green) and 3 (blue).

Select Backgnd / Menu
Set all three color bars to Minimum to select Black.
This is done by pressing 1 then the DOWN key until the Red bar is at minimum. Do the same for 2 (green) and 3 (blue).

The next step is to activate the new screen.
Menu / Up Arrow (Utilities)
Menu / Up Arrow (MD380 Toolz)
Menu / Up Arrow (17 Alt. UI Colors)
Select Enable / Confirm
Back Back Back
The resulting display will be White letters on a Black background.

For best visibility, set the brightness level to 9.
This is done as follows...

- Backlight Level High 9
This procedure can be used to select any other color combination desired as well.
