How to Avoid the Loading Error

When loading CHIRP, you will see the
following message when there has been an update. (Latest Daily Build).
You now have two options.
- Cancel allows you to continue and download later.
- OK
lets you download CHIRP
immediately.
Important Note: Even though the new version is now downloaded, you
Cannot perform the CHIRP Update while the current version is running.
Files that the installer needs to replace are locked while they are running.
An error similar to the following will be generated when the installer tries to delete them.
At this point you must Close CHIRP, and select Retry.
