New Model Request

Is your current model supported?
If your current
model is not in the
Supported Radios list, it's possible a request has
not yet been submitted.
Check this list first before continuing.
2) Has a request already been submitted?
Let's check to see if a NEW Request has already been
submitted.
Use the Search: field option at the upper right
to narrow down the selection.

3) Open a New Request
To open a New request, you need to sign in or create an
account. (upper right of page)
Select the
New Model Request page and enter the
required information.
At that time a volunteer interested in taking on the project will respond to the request.
Check back periodically to review the status of your
request.
Note: A developer will require access to this radio in order to write a driver for it.
Please remember that this is not an overnight process.
The CHIRP developers are volunteers and have families and full time jobs
and do this as a 'Labor of Love' for our hobby.
