PTT-A Press and hold to transmit on Freq displayed in A.

PTT-B Press and hold to transmit on Freq displayed in B.

F Side Key 1    aka FM
    Press F button to activate the FM radio; press again to deactivate.
    Press the *SCAN button to scan the FM channels.
    Press and Hold F button to activate the alarm function;
    Press F to deactivate.
Note1: Set Menu 32 to OFF or SITE to prevent over the air TX.

PTT+F transmits a 1750Hz tone
    Some newer models (1000, 1450, 1750, 2100Hz)

M Side Key 2   aka MONI
    Press the M button to turn flashlight ON/FLASH/OFF.
    Press and Hold the M button to monitor a signal/open squelch.

MENU button
    Press and Hold MENU button during PowerOn
    to change between VFO and MR modes.

EXIT/AB Button
    Press EXIT/AB to change the frequency display.
    A display: uppermost FREQUENCY / CHANNEL / NAME display
    B display: lowermost FREQUENCY / CHANNEL / NAME display
    When in the Menu mode, press EXIT/AB to exit the menu.

*SCAN Key
    Press *SCAN to activate Reverse, swap TX/RX frequencies.
    Press *SCAN key for 2 seconds to start scanning (freq/chan).
    While FM radio is activated, press *SCAN to search FM radio stations.
    While setting the RX CTCSS/DCS, press the *SCAN key to scan the RX CTCSS/DCS

# Key
    Under channel mode, press the # key to switch high/low power.
    Press the # key for 2 seconds to lock/unlock the keypad.

ACCESSORY JACK
    Jack used to connect audio and programming accessories.
