Firmware Update  TD-9800DMR Tier II Handheld UHF or VHF  |

Note: There are 4 versions of the TD9800 UHF, VHF, UHF GPS, VHF GPS. by sure to use the firmware meant for your model. |
Firmware Upgrade Procedure
- Connect programming cable to radio
- Unzip the firmware file to a temporary folder
- Open the TD-9800 software program
- Press and Hold the two side buttons at same time (below PTT button) then turn on the radio.
Note: (Screen will be blank). This indicates you are in the FW upgrade mode.
- Open the TD-9800 software
- Select: Tools / Software Update (from the top toolbar)
- Press: Load and Select the firmware file in the temp folder.
- Press: Update
