Here is the procedure for updating the Firmware of the MD-380/390 DMR transceivers.
 
The latest Firmware and Software for your radio can be downloaded directly from the TYT Website.

After downloading the proper files for your radio, you will need to unzip them to a work folder. The file you need to execute is Upgrade.exe
 
 

The following screen will appear Next, open the Update file Select the .bin file and select Open. This is the new firmware data. Power On your radio while pressing the top Side Key and the PTT at the same time. The LED on top will start flashing. With the cable connected to your radio, select Download Update File. Be patient and don't panic. The Download bar will proceed normally, then stop about half way.  This is normal.  Do not turn your radio off. After about a minute, a message will appear that translates to "complete".    Enjoy your new toy... MD-380 / MD-390 UV380 / UV390
