Concern

With the growth of DMR repeaters in the MD / PA / DE area, it became apparent that the area had outgrown its Local 2 coverage.

Solution

Sub-divide the area. The map below shows the new divisions.

New Talk Groups

Three additional talk groups were created to allow temporary Local 2 access to an adjacent area.

1) These are PTT Groups on your local repeater.
Once activated, the TG stays active for 15 minutes.

2) The above can only be used when outside the destination area.
Example: 31241 (MD) cannot be used to access Local 2 (MD).

Not all groups can be accessed using a hotspot (Brandmeister).
